If you liked "The Law of Self-Defense" you will love these state-specific supplements.
You know that protecting yourself from a ravenous criminal justice system after a defensive encounter is second only to protecting yourself and your family during the encounter itself. That’s why you bought “The Law of Self Defense, 2nd Edition,” or “LOSD2″ as we like to refer to it.
As you know, LOSD2 covers the law of self-defense in all 50 states. It can do this, however, only a high level–otherwise a 50-state book would weigh about 500 pounds. So while LOSD2 will tell you if your state is a “duty to retreat” or “stand your ground” jurisdiction, for example, it does not contain every statute, jury instruction, and court case that defines this legal issue in your state.
That’s where the Law of Self Defense State-Specific Supplements come in. We are rolling out a series of supplements covering individual states, diving deep into each state’s statutes, jury instructions, and case law to provide the same kind of comprehensive legal context as used by prosecutors, defense lawyers, and judges in real-world self-defense cases.
These State-Specific Supplements are the ultimate legal resource for an individual state’s self-defense law. Used in combination with "The Law of Self Defense, 2nd Edition," these state-specific supplements provide the most comprehensive coverage of the law of self-defense in your state.
To place your pre-publication order for any of the first five states--Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Texas, and Virginia--and save yourself 38% off the list price plus receive free shipping, or to vote for which states we should cover next, click here:
The first series of State-Specific Supplements will cover five individual states–Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Texas, and Virginia. These will be rolled out over the next two to three months, with the last being published before the end of the year. As is our usual practice, we are offering these for sale immediately on a “pre-publication” basis at a substantial discount. The anticipated list price for each book will be $39.95–the pre-publication price is only $24.95 (a 38% discount). When each book is published it will first be delivered to our pre-publication customers–the general public will be able to being receiving their copies 2-3 weeks later.
By the way, these State-Specific Supplements are all eligible for our “Refer-a-Friend” program. Use your personal discount code or social media to refer your friends to any Law of Self Defense book, and every time a friend buys based on that referral you will receive a $5 credit you can apply to any LOSD product or service–and your friend received a $5 discount and free shipping on their own order.
"The Law of Self Defense, 2nd Edition," covers the current state of self-defense law in all 50 states. We've heard from many of you, however, that you'd like to dive even deeper into the self-defense law of your particular state--to have on hand the full-text of every self-defense statute, jury instruction, and even the full-text of the most important and controlling self-defense court decisions. Fitting 50-states worth of level of comprehensive detail would result in a book that weighs 500 lbs, which is why we didn't take that approach in "The Law of Self Defense." Due to the great demand for this further detail, however, we have begun rolling out a series of State-Specific Supplements that do provide exactly such comprehensive coverage of each particular state's self-defense law. Right now these are available on a pre-publication basis at a 38% discount, with delivery of each to occur over the next 2-3 months--pre-publication customers will, as always, receive their books first, with shipment to the general public not beginning until all pre-publication customers have first been sent their books. To see the five states we are starting with, vote for other states to be covered, or to place your pre-publication order, click here: State-Specific Supplements.
