Another: One Punch, One Kill
Not much to say about this most recent "one punch, one kill" event other than what I wrote about the previous incident we covered in our blog a few days ago. This one happened in Philadelphia within the last couple of days:
Police say the 38-year-year old victim and his fiancee were walking a dog at Gold Star Park when they came across another man and his unleashed dog just before 9 p.m. Saturday.
Witnesses say the victim asked the man to not let the animal run free. The other man became angry and punched the victim in the face, causing the victim to fall backward and hit his head on the ground.
What's your plan for dealing with a thrown punch, folks? Do you have one that's both tactically and legally sound? Because going to your gun in an effort to neutralize a thrown punch is likely neither a tactically nor legally sound option.
And, needless to say, there's no time to think this stuff through when the other guy raises his fist.
